This is a kind of frequency oscillator that has high temperature stability using high Q value and various dielectric constant of dielectric ceramic. This is formed itself into Disc or Cylinder. This resonator is TE MODE, its progressive direction of electronic wave having vertical shape in only E field contrary to TEM MODE which is basis of transmission line.
There is no layer on the surface to shield the electroic wave. Generally the control electrical characteristic depends on the intervals and position of strip line. This is a series resonance cercuit.
