Configration
What is the TEMPAD ?
TEMPAD are used in microwave applications when signal level control is required. It is an absorptive temperature compensating element which provides dissipation varying with the temperature. These devicies use at least two different resistors (thermistor).
This is particularly useful for maintaing output of gain stage, mixer, power divider, amplifier and other signal processing componsents over temperature. A signal passive device which provides temperature compensated attenuation can replace the multiple components used.
Feature
- Amplifier
- Gain Stages
- Mixer
- Power Divider
- Other signal process
Operating Precaution
- Do not touch the sensing surface with bare hands and ensure no contact with adhesives, solder, flux, oil, grease, organic solvents(alcohol, acetone trichloroethylene, thinners, etc.) and ionized material such as tap water.

- Do not directly exopse sensors to smoke from cigarettes, breath or steam.

- Do not apply stress to the elements as the ceramic substrate may crack and sensors may not respond.
